Lighthouse Circularity Foundation collects, restores, and reuses donated goods — and puts them directly to work helping people in crisis. One donation at a time, we're turning waste into relief thereby helping people and saving our planet

Lighthouse Circularity Foundation was founded on 7 May 2026 in The Hague, the Netherlands from a simple observation: enormous amounts of usable goods are discarded, while millions of people worldwide are affected by disasters and poverty. Our name represents our mission to offer light and direction toward a more circular, more compassionate future.

Shining Light
We exist to fight waste and fight poverty at the same time. By recovering, repairing, and reusing household and business goods, we reduce what ends up in landfills — and turn those same goods into a lifeline for people affected by natural disasters, conflict, and extreme poverty, wherever they are in the world. Our dual goals drive us daily to circularity
How We Work
Transparency (ANBI)
We call our approach DIAL — Direct Implementation at Location. Rather than working through layers of intermediaries, we implement relief projects ourselves, on the ground, so that help reaches people faster and more efficiently. Every project is fully funded before it begins, so we can act with confidence and without financial risk.

Lighthouse Thrift is where our mission comes to life on the high street. Our stores sell quality secondhand goods — clothing, homeware, electronics, and more — donated by generous individuals and businesses. Every purchase funds our operations and our relief projects, and every donation keeps good items out of the landfill.

Lighthouse Circularity Foundation is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK 42055144, RSIN 869501951) and has an ANBI (Public Benefit Organisation) status application in progress. At least 90% of our income goes directly to our relief projects. Our annual report, financial statements, and policy plan would be publicly published. Our board members work without remuneration as their contribution to our public service

As a non-profit organization, we do not keep profit and we do not share profit with our board members. Everything we receive in donations go back to our relief projects
