The idea for the foundation grew out of a simple observation — that the world's resources are finite, yet our patterns of consumption too often are not. We envisioned an organization that would act as a lighthouse: a steady, guiding presence helping transition from a linear "take-make-waste" economy toward reuse and regeneration

Our vision is reflected in the foundation's name and identity. The lighthouse represents hope — shining a light to help find the way. The leaf and wave motifs woven into the foundation's emblem symbolize our core commitment: embracing the flow of circular, renewable systems rather than the straight, one-way path of waste.

We mobilize volunteers, partners, and communities to directly support people in need — people in crisis and poverty situations, globally. We support by supplying them the goods we have recovered from donors.
Guiding Light
We educate, advocate, and inspire. Through workshops, partnerships, and community outreach, we help individuals and organizations see a clearer, more sustainable path forward from poverty and crises.
